Writing
This novel hits on the aspect of not fitting in. Willow admits to Mai that she considers her her best friend after two to three weeks of meeting. It makes things awkward at the moment, but she saves herself by adding how since she is new to the school, Mai has been her first true friend. How did you become friends with your buddies? Why did you choose them as your closest peers?
